As the use of ridesharing companies such as Uber and Lyft continues to increase, so does the need to address the shocking matter of sexual assault and violence faced by both drivers and passengers. Whilst these companies have changed transportation and provided convenience, they have also inadvertently made opportunities for possible perpetrators.
